The TRR241 welcomed all members for the joint workshop in Schloss Thurn. In addition to progress reports from all projects, Mario Zaiss (Department of Medicine 3) and Sebastian Zundler (Department of Medicine 1) presented guest lectures and Nadine Cerf-Bensussan, head of the Laboratory of Intestinal Immunity Université Paris Descartes-Sorbonne Paris Cité, joined as keynote speaker. In round table meetings, progress and aims regarding the IBDome project, data management, the iRTG and the establishment of the mouse IBDome were discussed.
