The first PhD student Retreat took place in Berlin on the 13th and 14th of May. The Retreat was self-organized by the PhD students and was a true success. Philipp Tripal, an expert in the field optical imaging and Matthew Hepworth, an expert in immunology were invited for a talk. Additionally, Antigoni Triantafyllopoulou and Moritz Leppkes, both PIs of the TRR241 gave insight in their current research topics. Congratulation go to Roodline Cineus, Angelika Schmalzl and Stylianos Gnafakis, who won the poster awards. Thanks to all PhD students for excellent poster presentation at the first iRTG Retreat. Further on, congratulation go to Miguel Gonzalez Acera who was elected as the Student Representative of the iRTG from Erlangen.
